Enable Marketing Pro Ads Optimizer

Overview

If you have Marketing Pro, you can enable Ads Optimizer directly in ServiceTitan without contacting your sales representative. You can then turn the feature on and off at any time you choose.


Who uses this feature

  • Marketing managers, business owners, agency partners, and other marketers on your team

  • Primarily for Commercial Service & Replacement and Residential Service & Replacement business types

Feature configuration

  • Your account needs to have a Marketing Pro package with Ads enabled to use Ads Optimizer. If you're unsure about this, please reach out to your Pro Account Manager.

  • After you have added a Marketing Pro package with Ads to your account, you can enable Ads Optimizer directly in ServiceTitan. If you're interested in our prepay-and-save packages, please reach out to your Pro Account Manager or request a demo on our Pro Products page.

Things to know

Request a demo of Ads Optimizer

If you're not an admin, owner, or general manager, you can't enable Ads Optimizer, but you can request a demo.

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Marketing .

  2. In the side menu, click Ads Optimizer under Campaigns.

  3. In the Pricing section, click Request Demo

  4. In the Request Demo pop-up that opens, fill out the fields then click Request Demo

Enable Ads Optimizer

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Marketing .

  2. From the side menu, click Ads Optimizer under Campaigns to open the Ads Optimizer page. 

  3. Review the Ads Optimizer pricing. The pricing works as follows:        

    • Pay as you go: We bill $5.25 per Qualified Lead. Our cost structure is simple and transparent. When using Ads Optimizer, you're billed only for Qualified Leads that ServiceTitan helps to produce. We only bill for conversion events attributed to an external advertising account that Ads Optimizer enriches.

    • Subscription: You have the option to commit to monthly or annual subscription pricing as part of your Marketing Pro Ads package pricing. Subscription pricing is for unlimited usage for a single flat rate billed monthly. If you commit to an annual subscription, you can save 10% off the month-to-month pricing.     • Qualified Leads: A Qualified Lead is a conversion that can be attributed to an Ad campaign. For example, a phone call longer than 60 seconds, an online booking, an online lead form, or a chat widget. Should you exceed the number of included Qualified Leads in any billing period, ServiceTitan will charge you in arrears for all additional Qualified Leads at the rate provided and as updated by ServiceTitan from time to time. Below are the events that are considered a Qualified Lead:                

      • Calls longer than 60 seconds with a status of booked or unbooked

      • Calls classified as a lead manually with a status of booked or unbooked

      • Leads that come through the ServiceTitan API

      • Bookings and booking requests that come through the ServiceTitan API

      • Manual Jobs created in ServiceTitan

  4. After you've reviewed Ads Optimizer pricing:        

    1. In the Pricing section, click Get Ads Optimizer

    2. On the Checkout screen that opens, review the order. 

    3. Enter your Company Legal Name.

    4. For admins only, confirm that you are authorized to make purchases in this ServiceTitan account.

    5. Confirm that you agree to the terms and conditions.

    6. Click Place Order.

Your order is confirmed. Ads Optimizer is now live for your account.

Note: To disable Ads Optimizer, turn off the Ads Optimizer toggle at the top of the screen and confirm that you wish to disable it.

Ads Optimizer includes the following features:

  • Revenue Import: After you enable Ads Optimizer, Revenue Import is activated automatically. Ads Optimizer allows you to import revenue from jobs booked in ServiceTitan as Conversion Value in Google Ads. Your customer list is also sent to Google Ads every day to enrich Google's data and improve its targeting accuracy. For more, see How Revenue Import works in Ads Optimizer.

  • Optimizer's Experiment Feature: To get the most out of Revenue Import, your Google Ads should use value-based bidding. Optimizer's experiment feature automatically tests value-based bid strategies in your ads account, dialing in your bid strategy to be more effective.   • Capacity Awareness: Set capacity alerts for campaign business units (BUs). Notify your team when the job board is too empty or too full, allowing you to save money when it's busy or scale up budgets when it's slow. For more, see Use Capacity Awareness with Ads Optimizer.

  • Optimizer Impact: Ads Optimizer establishes a baseline for how your advertising performs before turning it on. Optimizer then displays performance after it's enabled, allowing you to see the lift it is creating for your ads. For more, see View Ads Optimizer's Impact.

  • Job Value Predictor: Activate Job Value Predictor (JVP) on a per-campaign basis to send the predicted job value to Google Ads. This enhances Google Ads Smart Bidding and can improve your return on investment (ROI). For more, see Use Job Value Predictor in Ads Optimizer.
