Creating a job to order parts without scheduling the appointment
By following these steps, you can order parts for a job without having to schedule an appointment immediately.
Creating a purchase order for parts
In the main navigation bar click Inventory.
In the left side menu, select Purchase Orders.
Click on Create New.
Fill in the required details for the parts you need to order, including vendor information.
Click on Create and select a create and send option.
Creating a job without immediate scheduling
In the main navigation bar, click Calls.
Fill in the information to create a new job.
When you reach the scheduling part, choose an arrival window and day but do not assign a technician.
Click Book Job. The job will now appear on the dispatch board as an unassigned job.
When you are ready to schedule the job, click on Dispatch in the main navigation bar.
Find the unassigned job in the unassigned job tray.
Assign a technician and set the specific day, hour, and arrival time for the job.
