Problem
You are unable to create a return for a serialized equipment in ServiceTitan due to not being able to use the same serial number.
Solution
On the navigation bar, click Inventory > Adjustments.
Create an inventory adjustment to increase the inventory for the item.
If the system does not allow you to use the same serial number, enter the serial number and add a hyphen to the end.
Create the return under the warranty with the correct serial number.
Note: If you encounter any issues while creating the return, make sure to check that the purchase order is not exported.
