Overview
View the cost and price details of a material or equipment item listed on an invoice or an estimate in the Field Mobile App. This helps you incorporate the cost of purchased items into your margin calculations for accurate pricing.

The View material costs permission is required to use this feature. Please contact the account administrator on your team.
Things to know
The names of certain screens, tabs, and so on may be different based on your selection in Menu
> Settings. For more, see Show Residential or Commercial terms in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.
View cost and price details on an invoice in the Field Mobile App
▶ [CONDITION: General Home only] — this entire workflow keeps the full "if Residential… if Commercial…" wording. Tag this whole block for the General Home space in the Doc360 editor, then delete this banner.
Open your job. If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Invoice tab. If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Work Summary tab.
If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap View next to Invoice Items. If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap View next to Line Items.
On the screen that opens, scroll to the Equipment section and the Materials section to view the Cost and Price fields.
Note: These fields are also shown when viewing an equipment or material item in the pricebook.

Open your job. If your default terminology is set to Residential, tap the Estimates tab. If your default terminology is set to Commercial, tap the Proposals tab.
Scroll to the estimate that has equipment and material items.
Tap the estimate to open it.
On the estimate that opens, scroll to the Items section and tap Edit to view equipment and material details.
On the Estimate Items screen that opens, scroll to the Equipment section and the Materials section to view the Cost and Price fields.
