Overview

Add work performed logs to jobs in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. Work performed logs allow you to document what work you performed on the job that day. You can then use these logs to generate the work summary for the job.

Tip: If the video doesn't play in full screen, tap More then Fit Screen .

  • Technicians

  • Primarily for Commercial Service business types

Feature configuration

Things to know

  • You can add or update your work performed logs when offline. Your changes will automatically sync when you regain connectivity.

  • The Enhance option is powered by Titan Intelligence (TI) and only works when online.

  • Your office may set work performed logs as required. If so, the Field Mobile App indicates this, and you'll be prevented from closing out the appointment or job until you enter your log.

  • If you're a lead technician, you can add and edit logs for your crew members.

  • Your work performed log is added to the list of logs for the job. It doesn't overwrite logs from other technicians.

  • If you haven't dispatched to an appointment yet, didn't perform any work, and need to reschedule it, you can reschedule the appointment without needing to fill out a work performed log.

Best practices

  • When you arrive at a job, review the previous work performed logs submitted by other technicians. These logs give you context on what work is already done.

Add work performed logs in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open the job.

  2. Add a log using one of the following options:

    • Tap Add > Add Work Performed Log.HVAC maintenance job details with options to add work logs and payments.

    • Tap the Work Summary tab, scroll to the Work Performed Logs section, then tap Add or View All > Add Work Log.Overview of work performed logs and authorization with clickable view options.

  3. If you're a crew lead adding a log for a crew member, select the Technician this log is for. Otherwise, skip this step.User interface for logging work performed by technician with highlighted fields.

  4. Enter a description of the work performed for the job.

    Tip: You can tap the Mic icon to use your device's voice-to-text feature.

  5. (Optional) Tap Enhance to improve your message with Titan Intelligence (TI) by:

    • Fixing grammar mistakes.

    • Adjusting the tone to be more professional.

    • Translating the text into English.

    Note: If you're not happy with the output, tap Revert to go back to your original message.

  6. When finished, tap Save Work Log.Document showing work performed with a save button highlighted for user action.

Edit work performed logs in the Field Mobile App

  1. Open the job and tap the Work Summary tab.

  2. Scroll to the Work Performed Logs section and tap View All.Overview of work performed logs and authorization details with clickable view options.

  3. On the screen that opens, tap Edit for the log you want to update.Log entry showing completed HVAC maintenance at commercial building A by user.

  4. Edit the log.

  5. (Optional) Tap Enhance to improve your message with Titan Intelligence (TI) by:

    • Fixing grammar mistakes.

    • Adjusting the tone to be more professional.

    • Translating the text into English.

  6. When finished, tap Save Work Log. The log updates with your edits.Document detailing work performed with a save button highlighted for user action.

View all work performed logs for a job

  1. Open the job and tap the Work Summary tab.

  2. Scroll to the Work Performed Logs section and tap View All.

  3. On the screen that opens, you can:

    • View all work performed logs in chronological order.

    • Tap Show More to view a specific work performed log.

    • Tap Sort to organize the logs by Newest or Oldest first.Work performed logs showing sorting options and detailed assessments by users.
