Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about dashboards, scorecards, and KPI calculations.

How is a KPI calculated?

Each KPI on the Modular Dashboard is calculated differently. Click the Information icon at the top of a scorecard or module to view a scrollable list of reported KPIs that includes the equivalent report template and column, a brief definition, the calculation method, and any dependencies or notes.

Definition and calculation of average estimates per sales opportunity for technician performance.
Why doesn't my Technician Scorecard show any data?

Scorecards show technician KPIs based on completed jobs whose business unit (BU) is mapped to that scorecard.

If no BUs are mapped, you'll see the message "Looks like your scorecards need some setting up."Map business units to Technician Scorecards to resolve this.

Message indicating scorecards need setup with a button to map business units.

If BUs are mapped but no completed jobs exist for the selected filters, you'll see "No data available due to selected filters."Filter the dashboard for a wider date range or additional BUs.

Technician scorecards display no data due to selected filters; adjust filters for results.
Why can't I see all my sales metrics on the Sales scorecard?

The Sales scorecard shows KPIs for sales jobs whose BUs are mapped to the scorecard. If a technician sells estimates on a non-sales job, those KPIs appear on that job BU's scorecard in the Sales tab rather than the dedicated Sales scorecard.

Why aren't membership sales appearing on the dashboard?

For a membership sale to appear on the Modular Dashboard, the membership must be sold or renewed on an invoice. Make sure your membership types are configured with membership sale and renewal tasks in your pricebook. For more, see Create membership types.
