Add notes and media to a Service Agreement visit in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App

Overview

Use the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App to add notes and upload photos, videos, and files to your Service Agreement job, providing real-time insights from the field.

Tip: If the video doesn't play in full screen, tap More then Fit Screen .


Who uses this feature

  • Technicians

  • Primarily for Commercial Service and Replacement business types

Feature configuration

  • The Field Mobile App is optimized for iOS, iPadOS, and Android phones and tablets. For more, see System requirements and mobile app information.

  • If you're using the Field Mobile App and need support, please contact (through the office) or reach out directly to support@servicetitan.com.

  • Permissions are required to use certain features in the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

Add notes

  1. Tap your job to open it, then tap Add.

  2. Tap NoteMenu options for HVAC maintenance including adding notes and capturing media.

  3. Enter your note.

  4. Tap the Pin icon if you want to see this note first. Note section indicating replaced contactor and system testing with save options below.

  5. Tap Save to to select where you want the note to be attached to:

    • Customer

    • Location

    • Job Note indicating replaced contactor and system testing, with options to save details.

  6. When finished, tap Add (iOS) or Save (Android).

Edit notes

  1. Tap your job to open it.

  2. On the Job tab, scroll to the Pinned Notes section and tap View allHVAC maintenance job details including location, notes, and task completion date.

  3. On the Notes screen that opens, tap the note you want to edit.

  4. On the Note Details screen that opens, you can:

    1. Tap Edit Note (iOS) or (Android) to edit the note.

    2. Tap Delete to delete the note.

  5. When finished, tap Save. The note updates with your edits.

Capture or upload photos and videos

Capture or upload photos and videos to provide a visual record of the work done. The media appears in the job and can be viewed by the office employees in the job history.

To capture or upload a photo or video:

  1. Tap your job to open it, then tap AddHVAC maintenance job details including schedule, tasks, and equipment serviced information.

  2. To take a new photo or video, tap Take Photo or Video on iOS devices and Take Photo  or Capture Video on Android devices.

  3. To upload a photo or video, tap Upload Photo or video .

  4. To upload a file, tap Upload File .

Rename or delete photos and videos

After you capture or upload media to a job, you can rename it to help you easily find and reference it later.

To rename a photo:

  1. Tap your job to open it, then scroll to the Media section on the Job tab.

  2. Tap the photo or video you want to rename and tap Edit View of industrial ceiling with ducts and air conditioning units visible.

  3. Enter a name for the image or video.

  4. Tap outside the image to save (iOS) or tap Save (Android).

To delete a photo:

  1. Tap your job to open it, then scroll to the Media section on the Job tab.

  2. Tap the photo or video you want to delete and tap Delete .

You can also edit or delete media from the Media screen:

  1. Tap your job to open it, then scroll to the Media section on the Job tab.

  2. Tap View allHVAC maintenance interface showing tags, media options, and no pinned notes.

  3. Tap More for the media you want to edit or delete.

  4. From the Actions pop-up, select Rename or Delete HVAC maintenance job details with options to rename or delete files displayed.
