Why aren’t form triggers working for specific job types?

Problem

Form triggers are not appearing for specific job types even though they work for other job types. The trigger should activate when technicians complete certain work orders but remain inactive.

Solution

Follow the steps below to solve the issue.

Match form and job business units

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings A simple icon representing a settings gear. .

  2. In the side panel, click Operations > Forms.

  3. Find the form that should trigger for your job type.

  4. Click the form to open its settings.

  5. Look for the Business Unit field in the form configuration.

  6. Check the business unit assigned to the form. HVAC Diagnostic Form settings with options for status, display, and business units.

  7. Go to the job that should have triggered the form.

  8. Check the business unit assigned to that job.

  9. Compare the business units between the form and the job. Editing job details with tags and business unit selection for plumbing service.

  10. If they don't match, update the form trigger's business unit.

  11. Save your changes.

  12. Test the trigger with a new job of the same type.
