Use Atlas to find replacement parts with Field Pro in mobile

Overview

Use Atlas in Field Pro to find compatible replacement parts while on the job. Select the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part, such as a motor, valve, igniter, or control board, you want to find replacements for, and Atlas generates a list of compatible parts you can use instead.

  • Data and privacy: Atlas is powered by Titan Intelligence (TI). It may generate inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated responses. Verify details before acting and don't treat it as professional advice. Your conversations may be stored to improve the service. Avoid sharing sensitive information.
    By using Atlas, you agree to use this feature responsibly, and further acknowledge and agree that any data collected will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and may be shared with third-party service providers.

  • You can access replacement part finder from Atlas screen in both ServiceTitan Mobile and the ServiceTitan Field Mobile App.

Find replacement parts in Atlas

  1. Open a job in the mobile app.

  2. Tap Ask AtlasServiceTitan and Field Mobile App interfaces showing job details and options to ask Atlas.

  3. On the Atlas screen that opens, tap Replacement Part FinderAtlas chatbot interface displaying options for cooling tune-up assistance and troubleshooting.

  4. Select the equipment using one of the following options:        

    1. Option 1: From the location's equipment list:                

      1. Tap Location Equipment to view all equipment installed at the job location, then select the unit you need. User interface for selecting equipment with dropdown menus and a submit button.

      2. Tap Submit.

    2. Option 2: By typing the model number:                

      1. Tap the Model Number dropdown. User interface for selecting equipment with options for location and manufacturer details.

      2. Enter at least 4 characters, then select the matching model from the suggestions.                        

        Tip: When searching for an equipment model, enter at least 4 characters in the Model Number field. The full model number is not required.

      3. (Optional) From the Manufacturer and Model Line dropdown fields, select manufacturer and model line to narrow results.

      4. Tap Submit.

  5. Tap the OEM Part dropdown and select the part you need a replacement for.

  6. Enter the part name or choose from the suggested list, then tap Submit

  7. Atlas displays a list of compatible replacement parts, including details such as:        

    1. Part name

    2. Match quality (for example, High, Medium, or Low)

Understand replacement part match types

When Atlas returns a list of compatible replacement parts, each part displays a match type that tells you whether it's linked to your Pricebook or a vendor catalog. The match type determines which actions you can take with the part.

Matched Pricebook item: The replacement part is matched to a material in your Pricebook. You can add the part to an invoice, an estimate, or a job note.

Note: The option to add a part to an estimate or invoice is available only when all of the following conditions are met:

  • An estimate for the job exists (for estimates) or an invoice for the job exists (for invoices).

  • You have permission to edit estimates or invoices.

  • The part has a matched Pricebook material.

Matched Vendor item: The replacement part is matched to an item in a vendor catalog, but that item is not in your Pricebook. Because the item isn't in your Pricebook, it can only be added to a job note. To add it to an invoice or estimate, the vendor item must first be added to your Pricebook by your office.

No Match in Pricebook: Atlas was not able to match the replacement part to a Pricebook material or a vendor catalog item. The part can only be added to a job note. You can still use the part details displayed in Atlas to source the part on your own.

Add replacement parts to an invoice

Add a compatible replacement part directly to an invoice without leaving Atlas.

The option to add replacement parts to an invoice is available only when all of the following conditions are met:

  • An invoice for the job exists.

  • You have a permission to edit an invoice.

  • The part has a matched Pricebook material.

  1. Review the compatible replacements list, then tap Add Display of compatible Lennox blower motor parts with options to add to invoice.

  2. Select Add to InvoiceMenu options for adding items to invoice, estimate, or job note are displayed.

  3. Tap View Invoice to exit Atlas and go to the invoice, or tap Find another part to stay in Atlas and keep searching. Invoice details for Lennox blower motor BLW-125 added to the system.

  4. From the Invoice screen, tap Ask Atlas to relaunch Atlas and pick up where you left off.

Add replacement parts to an estimate

Add a compatible replacement part directly to an estimate without leaving Atlas.

The option to add a part to an estimate is available only when all of the following conditions are met:

  • An estimate for the job exists.

  • You have permission to edit estimates.

  • The part has a matched Pricebook material.

  1. Review the compatible replacements list, then tap Add .

  2. Select Add to EstimateMenu options for adding items to invoice, estimate, or creating a job note.

  3. If the job has multiple estimates, tap the Select option(s) dropdown. Interface showing part details and options to add to an estimate.

  4. Select one or more estimates to add the part to, then tap ApplyUser selects the 'Better' option for improving airflow and efficiency in estimates.

  5. Tap Submit.

  6. Tap View Estimate to exit Atlas and go to the estimate, or tap Find another part to stay in Atlas and keep searching.

  7. From the Estimates screen, tap Ask Atlas to relaunch Atlas and pick up where you left off.

Add replacement parts to a job note

Document a compatible replacement part by creating a job note directly from Atlas.

  1. Review the compatible replacements list, then tap Add.

  2. Select Create Job Note.

  3. Atlas creates a job note with the following details:        

    1. Manufacturer

    2. Part name

    3. Vendor name

    4. Pricebook display name

    5. Pricebook code

  4. Tap View Note to review the note on the job. Job note created for Lennox blower motor replacement part identification and details.
