Things to know

  • To send SMS messages for your brands, you'll need to submit a separate SMS marketing registration for each one.
  •
  • Your marketing registration can take up to two weeks to be approved. During this time, a Registration in Progress tag displays on this screen. After your registration is approved, the tag updates to Registered.
  •
  • After your marketing registration is approved, you can begin generating opt-in requests for marketing text messages. For more, see Configure SMS opt-in settings.

Best practices

To ensure your marketing registration is approved, we recommend following these best practices:

  • Ensure you have an active website with company details, contact information, and descriptions of your services or products. If you don't have a website, a well-established Facebook or Instagram page may be enough.
  •
  • Include a valid privacy policy on your website. This policy should clearly state that personal information will not be shared or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. Not having a compliant privacy policy on your website greatly increases your chances of being declined and having to resubmit your registration.
