Set up the Reserve with Google Integration for legacy Scheduling Pro

Overview

If you're already using legacy Scheduling Pro, formerly known as Schedule Engine, for your online scheduling needs, you can set up the Reserve with Google Integration with your existing scheduling widget.

Complete the steps in this guide to ensure the Reserve with Google Integration is properly set up for all accounts and locations with your ServiceTitan account.

Note: If you're using the new Scheduling Pro, follow the steps listed here to set up the Reserve with Google Integration.


Who uses this feature

  • Administrators, marketing managers, operations managers, project managers, CSRs, and anyone who receives leads from Reserve with Google

  • Primarily benefits Residential Service & Replacement business types

Things to know

  • The Reserve with Google integration in ServiceTitan is managed through WorkConnect. For more, see WorkConnect overview.

  • If you don't already have a Google Business Profile, you need to create one before you can begin working with the Reserve with Google integration in ServiceTitan.

  • Only Administrator or Owner roles in ServiceTitan can accept the data agreement and set up the integration.

  • After you set up the integration, ServiceTitan automatically creates and associates a Reserve with Google marketing campaign.

  • Scheduling Pro customers can leverage their widget for an enhanced booking experience.

  • When someone requests a job through Reserve with Google, they can select an SMS consent box after entering their phone number. If they consent, they'll receive SMS updates about their request and any job appointments. If they don't consent, their notification preferences are turned off in ServiceTitan to comply with telecom regulations and respect their communication preferences.

Step 1: Accept the authorization form

To review and accept the authorization form:

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings  .

  2. In the side panel, go to Integrations > Marketing Integrations.

  3. On the Marketing Integrations screen that opens, click Configure next to the Reserve with Google integration. Marketing integrations section showing Google Local Services and Reserve with Google options.

  4. On the setup screen that opens, go to the API Data Authorization section and read through the authorization form. When finished, select that you've read the terms and click AgreeInstructions for API Data Authorization with an 'Agree' button highlighted.

  5. When finished, click Close.

Note: Only Administrators and Owners can accept the authorization form.

Step 2: Connect your accounts

After you accept the authorization form, connect your Google Business Profile accounts to ServiceTitan. You're prompted to sign in and permit the connection from the Reserve with the Google integration screen.

To authorize the Reserve with Google integration:

  1. In the Account Matching section, click Add LocationInstructions for adding a location in Google Business Profiles with a highlighted button.

  2. On the location screen that opens, provide your location that matches the details of your Google Business Profile exactly, such as capitalization, spelling, punctuation, and more:        

    1. Enter the Business name for this location.

    2. Select the Country then indicate the location's full Address.

    3. Enter the Phone Number and Email address for the location.

    4. When finished, click SaveForm for editing account details including business name, address, and phone number.                

      Note: After saving your location, it's updated with a Pending status. It may take 24-48 hours for the location to be verified by Google.

  3. When finished, click Next.

Step 3: Select the Scheduling Pro Widget

After you've added your locations, the final step is to select the existing Scheduling Pro widget to use for this integration. If you're already using Scheduling Pro, your existing scheduling widget theming, settings, and customer experience will remain the same when customers find you through Google.

To select your widget:

  1. In the Scheduling Pro Widget section, select the version of your Scheduling Pro widget you'd like to use from the list. In most cases, there will only be a single option available. User selects a scheduling widget option from a setup interface.

  2. When finished, select Complete Setup.        

    Note: It may take a few business days for the integration to fully activate.

Tip: To set up the Reserve with Google integration in your other Scheduling Pro accounts, use the dropdown menu to easily switch accounts.
