Enable Custom Fields in ServiceTitan to use them as merge tags and filters when you create campaigns and Audiences in Marketing Pro.

This article is for Marketing Pro. If you are using Marketing Pro v2, see Launch campaigns from the Autopilot Library for content specific to your experience.
You can check your version following these steps:
Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing
.If the side menu under Analytics includes One-Time Campaigns and Automated Campaigns, you're using Marketing Pro v2. If these options aren't visible, you're using Marketing Pro.

Things to know
You can enable Custom Fields to be added as merge tags in Marketing Pro after you add them in Settings
> Operations > Custom Fields. For more, see Use custom fields.You can only use the Text and Dropdown type Custom Fields as merge tags.
You can only search for Custom Fields by their names.
You can sort Custom Fields alphabetically.
You can filter the Custom Fields table by Name, Where it appears in ServiceTitan, Type, and status.
Enable Custom Fields to be used as merge tags
Custom Fields are specific information you gathered about customers that you can use to better target your marketing campaigns.
After you add the Custom Fields in Settings
> Operations > Custom Fields:
Go to Settings
> Marketing Pro > Custom Fields. You can see all text and dropdown type Custom Fields.Turn on the Use as Merge Tag toggle to enable using the Custom Fields as merge tags in Marketing Pro campaigns.

This allows you to see these Custom Fields as merge tags in the email templates. For more, see Create email templates.
Enable Custom Fields to be used as filters in Audiences
Use Custom Fields as filters when creating your Audiences to better target your customers.
After you add the custom fields in Settings
> Operations > Custom Fields:
Go to Settings
> Marketing Pro > Custom Fields. You can see all text and dropdown type Custom Fields.Turn on the Use as Filter in Audience toggle to enable using the Custom Fields as filters when creating Marketing Pro Audiences.

This allows you to see these Custom Fields as filters in the Audiences builder. For more, see Create audiences.
