Manage counts in the inventory mobile

Overview

The Inventory Counts section of the Inventory Mobile app helps you confirm the expected count of items. You can count the expected amount of items or you can count partially.

Get started with inventory counts

Tap the Inventory Counts section or tap Counts from the navigation bar. The Inventory Counts screen opens showing all counts within your inventory location. Tap the Filter icon to search counts by inventory location. Select the inventory location you want, and tap Apply.

Tip: To see counts from all inventory locations, tap Select All.

Start counting

  1. Select the inventory location where you want to count items, and tap Start Counting.A cursor tapping Start Counting on the Inventory Counts screen.The inventory location opens showing the list of available items.

  2. Enter the number of items you want to count and tap Confirm.A cursor tapping Confirm after entering the number of items to count.

    Tip: Go to the Counted tab, and tap the More icon to edit the quantity of the item you want to count or return the item back to Uncounted.

    Tip: Tap the item image > See More to see the larger image and detailed information about the item.

  3. If you counted all items under the inventory location, review the count summary and tap Submit.A cursor tapping Submit after reviewing count summary.

  4. If you counted less items than ordered, tap Finish for Now.A cursor tapping Finish for Now when counted items are less.

You can always go back to the inventory location and continue counting or make changes and save the progress.
