Problem
The Tax Detail Report does not appear under the Accounting section in the Reports tab due to insufficient user permissions.
Solution
Double check employee permissions
Go to Settings
in the top toolbar.In the side panel, click Operations > Reporting Settings.
On the Dashboard and Reporting Settings screen that opens, click Reporting Permissions.

On the Reporting Permissions tab, you can either update individual employee permissions or update role permissions.
Update individual employee permissions
Find the employee who needs updated permissions and click Edit.
On the Edit Reporting Permissions screen that opens, select the report templates you want to give the employee access to. You can:
Give permissions for report templates and legacy reports. Click a tab to switch to the other report type.
Give View access.
Give Edit access.
Allow the employee to View All or View None.
Allow the employee to Edit All or Edit None.

When you're finished, click Save.
Update role permissions
Updating role permissions updates the permissions for all employees with that role.
Locate the role that needs updated permissions and click Edit.
On the Edit Reporting Permissions screen that opens, select the report templates you want to give the employee access to. You can:
Give permissions for report templates and legacy reports. Click a tab to switch to the other report type.
Give View access.
Give Edit access.
Allow the employee to View All or View None.
Allow the employee to Edit All or Edit None.

When you're finished, click Save.
