Change a renewal membership type

Overview

You can change the type of membership you want to renew. In ServiceTitan, there are two ways you can edit renewal membership type: through the Follow Up screen or through the Search screen.

  • Administrators and Back Office

  • Primarily benefits Residential Service and Replacement business types

  • Applies to all trades

           

Things to know

  • This feature is enabled by default.            

  • Common uses for this feature include:            

  • A customer wants to upgrade their membership            

  • A customer wants a membership for a different Business Unit
               

Edit renewal membership type in Follow Up      

You can access all of your customer memberships through the Follow Up screen.

To edit the renewal membership type from the Follow Up screen, complete these steps:

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Follow Up.

  2. Click the Expiring Memberships tab.

  3. Under Renewal Opportunities, click the text in the Opportunity Status cell to view the customer's expiring memberships.

  4. In the customer record, click the pencil icon to edit the membership renewal type.

  5. In Edit Membership, click the Renew Membership With dropdown to select a membership type.

  6. When you’re done, click Save. The customer record page appears. In Membership, you can view the updates you made for the customer membership type.

Edit renewal membership type through Search    

  1. Go to Search and select Customer.

  2. Enter the customer name.

  3. Click the Search icon.

  4. Click the customer you want. The customer record appears. You will be directed to the customer record page.

  5. Under Memberships, click the membership you want to change the Membership Type.

  6. In the customer membership record, click the pencil icon to edit the renewal membership type.

  7. In Edit Membership, click the Renew Membership With dropdown and select the desired membership type.

  8. When you’re done, click Save. The customer record page appears.
