Overview
Technicians can scan item barcodes using the device camera when adding items to estimates or invoices.

Things to know
When a technician scans a barcode, the data is compared with the barcode data in your Pricebook. The item is suggested to the technician if the ServiceTitan finds the match.
Add items to estimate or invoice using barcode scanning
In the Overview tab, tap View Job to open the job you want to work with.
On the job record screen that opens, in the side menu tap Estimates or Invoice.
If you select Estimates, the Estimates screen opens.
Tap the estimate you want to add items to.
To add equipment, tap Add Items.

To add a material, tap Material, then tap Add.
On the Categories screen that opens, tap Scan to Add.

If you select Invoice, the Invoice screen opens.
To add equipment to the invoice, tap Add Items.
To add a material to the invoice, from the Actions dropdown, tap Materials, then tap Add.
On the Categories screen that opens, tap Scan to Add.
Scan the barcode. The item details screen opens.
Note: The ServiceTitan mobile brings the items added to the Invoice or Estimate in ServiceTitan > Pricebook. For more information, see Inventory barcode scanning.
When finished, tap Add to Estimate or Add to Invoice, then tap Done.
