Why don’t material unit prices calculate automatically on invoices?

Problem

The materials on the invoice don't automatically calculate unit prices.

Solution

By following these steps, you can resolve the issue with the materials not calculating unit prices automatically on the invoice.

Edit invoice details

1. Check if the Client Specific Pricing Rule is assigned to the customer's profile. This rule must be in place for unit prices to be calculated automatically.

2. Go to the Invoice screen.

3. Search for the invoice in question.

4. On the Invoice screen, cick Update invoice details.

5. In the Rate Seet field, assign the rate sheet n to the invoice. This step is crucial because items will only be calculated if they are assigned to a client-specific pricing rule.

6. Save your changes. After assigning the rate sheet, the unit prices should start calculating automatically.

7. Verify that the changes have taken effect and that the unit prices are now calculated as expected.
