Problem
The material is not associated with a category. It needs to be linked to a category that is also linked to your POS location.
Solution
Add a category to your material item
Firstly, find out which categories are assigned to your POS Location. This step is crucial to know where to assign your material.
In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Settings
.In the side menu, select Invoicing > POS Locations.
Review the categories listed for your POS location. You need to know these categories to proceed.
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
In the side panel, select Pricebook > Materials.
Search for the material you need.
When you find it, click More
and select the View/Edit Material option.In the material details window that opens, scroll down to the Categories field.
Assign the material to one of the categories selected in your POS Location settings.
Save your changes. Make sure the material is now correctly linked to a category.
Go back to your POS Locations screen and add the material again.
