Why can't an employee see the time clock option?

Problem

The time clock option is not visible for an employee.

Solution

Assign permissions

  1. Ask an Admin user to sign in to ServiceTitan.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Use the search bar in Settings to search for Employees.

  4. Open the Employee page. Select Edit on the profile that cannot see the time clock.

  5. Click the Permissions section.

  6. Look for the permission labeled View employee time tracking and edit page.

  7. Check the box to enable the permission. This gives the employee access to the Time Clock so that they can clock in and out. This also gives the employee access to their pay stubs.

  8. Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

After these steps, the employee should see the time clock option in their account.

Note: They may need to refresh the page for the changes to be visible.
