Problem
Pricebook categories stay visible on materials and services even though they are deactivated. Categories cannot be deleted.
Solution
Check your ServiceTitan account for updates
Check if your ServiceTitan account has been updated recently. Sometimes, updates can fix issues without any extra steps.
Check your categories
In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.
Look for the categories that are still showing up.
Deactivate the categories again. To do this:
Find the category you want to deactivate.
Click the category to open its details.
At the end of a category or subcategory row, click More Actions
and select Deactivate.
After deactivating, refresh your page to see if the categories are still visible.
If the categories are still there, check if they are linked to any materials or services that are still active. Sometimes, categories remain visible because they are in use.
If you find any active links, deactivate or reassign those materials or services.
After making changes, refresh your page again to check if the issue is resolved.
If the problem persists, it might have been a temporary glitch that got fixed with an account update, as sometimes issues are resolved after updates.
Remember, updates to ServiceTitan can sometimes fix issues without needing further action. Always check if there was a recent update if you encounter a problem.
