Where Did the Financials Shortcut Go in Projects After the Upgrade?

Problem

The financials shortcut button disappeared after the upgrade, and you cannot see the job costing portion or do the progressive billing.

Solution

Disable the Hide financials permission

  1. Open the project you want to view.

  2. Check if the Financials tab is visible. If not, proceed to the next step.

  3. Go to Settings > Employees > Edit > Permissions.

  4. Search for the Hide Financials permission and make sure it is unchecked. The Show financials permission.

  5. Save your changes.

  6. Go back to the project and check if the Financials tab is now visible. The Financials tab.        

    Note: You may need to refresh the page to see the tab.
