Where can I find labor and material percentages in ServiceTitan reports?

Problem

You have a Job Costing Report that is missing Labor % and Material % columns that were in previous report versions. You're unsure which columns to add to a report to see these values.

Workflow Summary

Use the Project Job Costing or Jobs report templates to create custom reports. the Project Job Costing template is used to calculate costing for your projects, while the Jobs template focuses on individual jobs. Both templates have Labor % and Material % columns. Select the percentage columns from Cost Totals section.

Create a Project Job Costing report

You can create a custom report based off the Project Job Costing report template. This template calculates job costs for an entire project.

  1. Go to Reports in the main navigation menu.

  2. Click Create Report.

  3. Under Choose report type, select All.

  4. Under Select a report template, select Project Job Costing.

  5. In the Columns to be displayed in the report section, add the following columns from the Cost Totals subsection:

    1. Projects Material Costs As % of Sales

    2. Projects Labor Pay as % of Sales

  6. Add or remove additional columns from your report, then click Next.

  7. Give the report a name, select the category where the report displays on the main Reports screen, and provide an optional description for the report.

  8. When you're finished, click Save.

Create a Job Costing report

You can create a custom report based off the Jobs report template. This template calculates focuses on job information, rather than project information.

  1. Go to Reports in the main navigation menu.

  2. Click Create Report.

  3. Under Choose report type, select All.

  4. Under Select a report template, select Jobs.

  5. In the Columns to be displayed in the report section, add the following columns from the Cost Totals subsection:

    1. Material Costs As % of Sales

    2. Labor Pay as % of Sales

  6. Add or remove additional columns from your report, then click Next.

  7. Give the report a name, select the category where the report displays on the main Reports screen, and provide an optional description for the report.

  8. When you're finished, click Save.
