What steps should I take to ensure my technicians receive job notifications on their mobile devices?

Problem

Technicians are not receiving notifications for jobs on their mobile devices.

Solution

Workflows to Resolution

  1. Open ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar, and click Settings .

  2. In the side panel, go to Integrations > Alerts.

  3. Check if the Technician Next Job alert is set up and active. If not, click Add.

  4. On the screen that opens, enter the following details:        

    • Type: Select Technician Next Job for job notifications.

    • Delivery Method: Select SMS for the alert for mobile device delivery.

    • Recipients: Select the names of the technicians who should receive the alert. If you want the alert to be sent to technicians assigned to the job, select Job Related Technicians.

    • Enter any remaining details for the alert, such as Trigger Before (minutes). This option controls when the alert will be sent. For example, if you set Trigger Before (minutes) to 10 minutes, the alert will be sent 10 minutes before the scheduled start time of the job.

    • When finished, click Save
