Problem
Users can encounter issues when trying to add an estimate to a job, receiving error messages like can't add a non-zero estimate or issues with technician assignments.
Solution
There are two ways to create an estimate without attaching it to an invoice:
From the Customer profile
From the call Booking screen
Create an Estimate from the Customer Profile
Go to the customer's profile.
Click on the More
icon.Click Build Estimate.
In the estimate creation screen, enter the name of the estimate. For example, type Agreement.
Proceed to add the necessary details to your estimate, such as services, prices, and descriptions.
Create an Estimate from Call Booking
From the Call Booking screen during the call booking process, Click Build Estimate.
Note: If you cannot see this button, Please contact Technical Support for details.
Follow the same steps as creating an estimate from the customer profile and enter the estimate name, services, prices, description, and fill out the Sold By field.
Add all the required details to complete the estimate.
