Problem
You cannot directly change the customer name on an estimate if it's linked to a job. The system allows name changes through the job's invoice page, but this changes the name for the entire job.
Solution
Follow these steps to create multiple estimates for different customers without changing the job invoice page. Check if you have an estimate template. If not, you'll need to create one.
Go to Pricebook.
Click Templates from the sidebar.
Click Create Template if you don't have an existing template. If you have one, skip to step 6.
Fill in the template details. Include all services and items you need for your estimates. Save the template.
For each customer, follow these steps:
Propose the same estimate to the customers you want by adding this same template.
Navigate to the Customer page > Opportunities & Estimates > Build Estimate and select the created template
Go to the Job page and click Actions.
Click Add estimate.
Repeat steps 6 to 9 for each customer you need to create an estimate for.
