What is the compatibility of discounts and fees with POS invoices in ServiceTitan?

Problem

Discounts and fees cannot be applied directly to POS invoices in ServiceTitan.

Solution

You can work around the current limitation and apply discounts or fees to POS invoices in ServiceTitan.

Apply discounts

1. Discount tasks are not applicable with point of sale invoices. Instead of applying a discount directly, create a discount service item to act as the discount.

2. Go to the Service Items section.

3. Select Add Service Item and select Discount Service Item.

4. Name the Discount Service Item to reflect the discount or fee you wish to apply.

5. Adjust the price of the Blank Service Item to match the discount amount. If it's a fee, add the fee amount.

6. Add this Blank Service Item to your POS invoice to effectively apply the discount or fee.

7. Keep an eye on ServiceTitan updates.
