Problem
When memberships are sold, they should show up in your reporting. However, if they are tagged as a potential member or potential membership renewal opportunity, they might not count as a sold membership. This happens because the workflow for the membership task is set to Do Nothing.
Solution
You can fix the issue of sold memberships not showing up as expected in your reporting. Make sure all your membership tasks are correctly set up to activate memberships. This will help you accurately track and report on membership sales and renewals.
Set up your membership tasks
First, you need to check the setup of your membership tasks. Go to the Pricebook section in ServiceTitan.
Click Services. Here, you'll find a list of all the services you offer.
Find the membership service you're having issues with and click Edit Service.
Look for the Workflow section in the service details.
If the workflow is set to Do Nothing, this is causing the issue. You need to change it to activate the membership.
To change the workflow, select the appropriate option that activates the membership upon the task's completion.
Save your changes. This should ensure that sold memberships are correctly counted and show up in your reporting.
Repeat these steps for all membership types and renewal tasks to ensure they are set up correctly.
