How do I stop dynamic pricing from changing item prices in ServiceTitan?

Problem

The price of the item inflated on an estimate. This happened due to a dynamic pricing rule applied to the item's category.

Solution

Remove the category item from the dynamic pricing rule.

Change the dynamic pricing rule

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

  2. In the side menu, click Pricing Builder.

  3. Select the Dynamic Pricing tab.

  4. Find the rule that's causing the price change and click Edit.

  5. On the Base rule screen that opens, click Edit for Applies toDynamic pricing setup showing categories, billable rates, and markup details for HVAC.

  6. Look for the category that causes the issue.

  7. Uncheck the checkbox next to the category to remove it from the rule. User selects categories for applying rules in a pricebook interface.

  8. Save your changes.
