View import history in Pricebook

Overview

Use the History tab in Pricebook to access and download automatically saved backups from each import. It helps you to undo bulk changes, review past pricing, or compare updates over time. Each version is saved in XLS format and can be re-imported if needed.

View import history in Pricebook

1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook .

2. In the side panel, click History.
   

3. On the History screen that opens, you can see a list of all saved versions with these columns:

   1. Date: Shows when the new version of Pricebook was imported. 

   2. User: Shows the user who imported the Pricebook.

   3. Primary and Add On: These columns show you billable rates and surcharges.

      Note: These columns apply only if you use the Pricing Wizard feature. If you don’t use the wizard, you can ignore these columns.

   4. Source: Indicates the action type: Import or Wizard.

      Note: If you don’t use the Pricing Wizard feature, only the Import source will show. 

   5. Before: Contains a backup of the previous version. Click the .XLS link to download the Pricebook before the import.

   6. After: Contains the new version that was uploaded. Click the .XLS link to download the Pricebook after the import.
      
      You can import the downloaded file back into your Pricebook to restore a previous version.
