Set Up a QuickBooks Desktop File with an Active Connection error

Problem

You receive the error message You have to setup a QuickBooks Desktop file with an active connection on the Settings page when trying to export to QuickBooks Desktop in ServiceTitan.

Solution

  1. Check if the batch was created before updating QuickBooks Desktop.

  2. If the batch was created before the update, create a new batch.

  3. Add payments or invoices to the new batch.

  4. Post and export the new batch.

Note: Make sure to set up a QuickBooks Desktop file with an active connection on the Settings page in ServiceTitan before exporting.
