a. Go to Reports > All Reports. Browse by category (Financial, Operational, Marketing, Inventory, etc.) or use the search bar to find a specific template.
b. Click a report to open it. Use the filters (date range, business unit) to narrow results, then click Run Report. Bookmark frequently used reports for quick access.
⚠︎ Pre-built report templates are available to all packages (Starter, Essentials, The Works).
a. Go to Reports > All Reports and click Create Report. Choose a report type, then select a template (e.g., Jobs, Invoices, Estimates). Select the columns you want to include and click Next.
b. Name the report, assign it to a category, configure sharing settings, and click Save. Run the report to verify results, then use filters, grouping, and column sorting to refine.
⚠︎ The ability to create custom reports depends on the ServiceTitan package your company is subscribed to. If you don't have the option to create a custom report, it may not be included in your package.
a. Open or create a custom report, then click Join Template to add a second report template. The system identifies shared join entities (e.g., Customer ID, Job ID, Business Unit ID) and presents available templates for joining.
b. Select the join entity to connect the two templates. Choose a join type (Left Join or Inner Join). Add columns from both templates and create calculated fields to derive custom KPIs.
⚠︎ Multi-Template Reports (MTR) are limited to joining two templates per report — no 3+ template joins are supported. Extended (EXT) reports and Legacy reports cannot be joined. Both templates must share at least one join entity for the Join Template button to be active.
a. Go to Dashboard in the main navigation menu. The Modular Dashboard displays pre-built widgets for business metrics, call metrics, CSR metrics, and a geographic heat map.
b. To create custom dashboards, click the Modular Dashboard dropdown and select Create Dashboard. Add modules (Report, KPI, or Visualization) and arrange them for different roles (owner, manager, dispatcher).
⚠︎ The ability to create custom dashboards depends on the ServiceTitan package your company is subscribed to. If you believe you have the ability to create custom dashboards and see an "upgrade" prompt when creating a custom dashboard, a specific configuration may need to be enabled — contact support.
a. Go to Dashboard and scroll down to the Technician Scorecards section. Each scorecard reports on a business unit division and includes tabs for Overview, Lead Generation, Memberships, Productivity, and Sales KPIs.
b. Click a technician's KPI to open their individual scorecard in a new window. Use scorecards in 1-on-1 coaching sessions to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
⚠︎ Scorecards show metrics based on the business unit of completed jobs, not the technician's BU. Business units must be mapped to divisions before scorecards display data. Go to Dashboard > Change BU Mapping to configure.
a. Go to Reports > All Reports. Find the report you want to schedule and click the Calendar icon. Alternatively, open the report, click More, then select Schedule.
b. Choose Simple Report (individualized per recipient) or Flexible Report (same report to all recipients). Set the email subject, format (PDF or XLSX), date range, and business unit filters. Add recipients, set the frequency, and click Schedule.
a. Go to TitanAdvisor (top toolbar). In the TitanScore section, click View your Benchmark Report — powered by TI to open the current quarterly benchmark PDF.
b. To access past reports, go to Reports > Benchmark Reports. Download individual or all past reports to compare performance trends across quarters.
⚠︎ Benchmark Reports are powered by Titan Intelligence and require Data Preferences to be opted in (Settings > Titan Intelligence > Data Preferences > Industry Publications). Customers still onboarding or with fewer than 100 completed jobs in the review period will not see a report.
a. Narrow the date range and reduce the number of columns. Reports with many KPIs and wide date ranges process slower. AR Transaction reports should be limited to a max 1-year date range for performance.
b. Schedule the report for email delivery instead of running it live. Scheduled reports run during off-peak hours and can be delivered as PDF or XLSX.
c. If the report still times out, try exporting: click Export, select Export New Result, and choose your format. For Rollup Reporting, reduce the number of tenants included.
⚠︎ Joining Customers or Customer Memberships templates to other templates may produce very large result sets and cause timeouts. Extended (EXT) reports cannot be joined and must be run standalone.
