Import automated Assembly templates

Overview

Automated Assembly Templates let contractors import prebuilt material bundles,such as underlayment, shingles, nails, and flashing,directly from supplier platforms like SRS Distribution, ABC Supply, and QXO into ServiceTitan. These templates sync automatically to ensure your assemblies reflect the latest supplier SKUs and pricing.


Who uses this feature

  • Office employees, managers, owners, administrators, and purchasing managers

  • Applies to all business types

Feature configuration

  • Roofing supplier integrations are required to use this feature, such as SRS Distribution, QXO and ABC Supply Integrations. Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please contact Technical Support for details.

Things to know

  • The feature requires an active supply integration connection with your vendor, such as SRS Distribution, ABC Supply, or QXO.

  • Imported assemblies automatically reflect the supplier's latest SKUs and pricing.

  • Assemblies are available for use in purchase orders and estimates once synced.

  • When suppliers update assemblies, ServiceTitan syncs those changes during the next scheduled integration run.

Use cases

  • Roofing contractors can quickly import Shingle Roof Kit – 30 Squares from ABC to instantly create a purchase template for upcoming jobs.

Import Assembly from Supplier

After your supplier integration is active, you can import your supplier assembly templates into ServiceTitan.

  1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings  .

  2. In the side panel, select Inventory or Purchasing > Templates.

  3. On the Templates screen, click the Assemblies tab. User interface showing templates with options to add, activate, or deactivate items.

  4. Click Import Assembly > Import from VendorHVAC Install page with options to deactivate, download template, and import assembly.

  5. In the Import from vendor pop-up window, select your vendor.        

    1. SRS Distribution

    2. ABC Supply

    3. QXO

  6. From the Source dropdown, choose how you want to import items.

  7. In the Customer Template dropdown, select a template and click ImportImport items from vendor ABC Supply using Customer Template 1 in the interface. A confirmation message appears indicating that your assembly was imported successfully. Notification indicating successful assembly import with confirmation message displayed.

  8. Click Save to finalize and add the assembly.

After your import, your assemblies appear under Templates > Assemblies and are available for use in Purchase Orders and Estimates.
