How to Enable Simultaneous Ringing for Two Employees in a Department in Dialpad

Problem

You want to enable simultaneous ringing for two employees in a department in Dialpad, but are unable to figure out how to do so.

Solution

  1. In Dialpad, go to Settings > Departments and select the Department you are trying to update.

  2. Scroll down to Business Hours & Call Routing.

  3. Click Edit Call Routing.

  4. In the call routing window, locate routing options and select operators.

  5. Check the option for Simultaneous Ring and make sure the Changes Saved banner appears.

Note: Simultaneous ringing is only available for departments, not for AI call centers.
