How do I move an estimate or invoice to a different project in ServiceTitan?

Problem

You need to move an estimate and an invoice to another project, but both were created on a project and did not have linked jobs.

Solution

Estimates and invoices cannot be moved to another project if they were created on a project without linked jobs.

1. To work around this issue, delete the estimate and zero out the invoice by clicking into the opportunity. From the opportunity, you can delete the estimate.        

   1. For invoice items, go to the invoice and remove each item from the invoice.

2. Create the new estimate or invoice on the correct project by going to either Build Estimate or Add Invoice on the project's Actions dropdown menu.

Note: If you've already booked a job from the estimate, you need to detach the job from the original project and attach it to the correct project. However, the estimate will still be connected to the original project and cannot be transferred to another project.
