How do I edit the name of an existing customer?

Problem

I have issues updating an existing customer's name without impacting audit records.

Solution

Update the customer name

  1. In ServiceTitan, go to the navigation bar and click Search .

  2. From the dropdown, select customer.

  3. Type the customer's name in the Name field.

  4. Click Enter on your keyboard or Search to search for the results.

  5. From the list, click the customer name to open their customer profile.

  6. Click next to the customer's name to edit the name.

  7. Change the name to the new one you want to use.

  8. Click Save to update the profile.

Note: Updating won't affect the audit records.
