How do I create a bundled package for equipment in Pricebook?

Problem

You need to bundle multiple equipment items into a single package in Pricebook. You want to make it simple for technicians to add this package to a job or an estimate.

Solution

Create a service item and attach the relevant equipment to it. This ensures that when the service is added to a job or estimate, the associated equipment is automatically included.

Create bundled package for equipment

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook.

  2. In the side menu, click Services.

  3. Edit an existing service item or create a new one. This service item will serve as the base for your bundled package.

  4. In the equipment section, add all the equipment items that should be included in the bundle. Service addition interface showing equipment options and pricing details for selection.

  5. If you intend to charge only for the equipment and not the service itself, set the price of the service item to $0.00.

  6. After making your changes, click Save.

Now, when this service item is added to an invoice or estimate, the attached equipment will be included automatically.
