How can technicians be notified when they are unassigned from a job?

Problem

I want my technicians to get notified every time they are unassigned from jobs.

Solution

Follow the steps below to add an alert.

Add alert

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Alerts.

  2. On the Alerts screen that opens, click Add.

  3. On the Add alert screen that opens, enter the alert details.        

    1. Type: From the dropdown select Technician Unassigned alert.

    2. Delivery Method: Select the channel by which you want to send the alert.

    3. Recipients: Select the names of the users who you want to get the alert.

    4. Select the checkbox for Job Related Technicians so the alert only sends to the technicians assigned to that job.                

      Note: Leave the Recipients field blank and have the Job Related Technicians checkbox selected if you only want the job-related technicians to receive the alert.

                   

  4. When finished, click Save.
