How can I see manual SMS messages sent to customers?

Problem

You need see all text messages sent to customers, excluding those sent from an automated marketing campaign. You can create a report showing manual SMS messages to customers without marketing automations.

Solution

Create a report based on the SMS Sent report template

  1. Go to Reports in the main navigation menu.

  2. Click Create Report.

  3. Under Choose report type, select All.

  4. Under Select a report template, select SMS Sent.

  5. In the Columns to be displayed in the reports section, review the default columns.

  6. Add or remove additional columns from your report, then click Next.

  7. Give the report a name, select the category where the report displays on the main Reports screen, and provide an optional description for the report.

  8. When you're finished, click Save.

  9. Use the filters to narrow down your report results, then click Run Report.

  10. The report runs, displaying your results in a table. By default, the report shows both text messages sent to technicians and sent to customers.

  11. You can update the report to only view text messages sent to customers by clicking the Filter in the Customer Name column.

  12. In the first field, select Is not empty from the dropdown.

  13. Then, click Filter.

  14. The report results will update, showing only texts sent to customers.
