How can I access the call routing section in the settings of Dialpad?

Problem

You are not sure how to edit the call routing for the main line, department, or contact center.

Solution

As a DialPad admin, adjust call routing for main lines, departments, or contact centers via Admin Settings. Navigate to Main Line, Departments, or Ai Contact Centers, and access Business Hours & Call Routing.

Access the call routing section

  1. In your Dialpad account, go to the Admin Settings.

  2. Select Main Line, Departments, or Ai Contact Centers.

  3. Go to Business Hours & Call Routing.

  4. Click Edit Call Routing to access and adjust your call routing settings as needed. Cursor clicking edit call routing in the Main Line

Note: The main line is likely just the starting point for your call routing and may forward to a contact center or a department.
