Overview

The Inventory Mobile App enhances the ServiceTitan Inventory Module by streamlining inventory workflows with mobile barcode scanning. Office employees and technicians can use the app to manage tasks like receiving purchase orders, processing transfers, and performing cycle counts from their mobile devices. This improves accuracy, saves time, and helps teams maintain better control over inventory across trucks and warehouses.

Things to know

iOS Users:

  • Minimum iOS version: iOS 15

  • Any device which can run iOS 15 will meet hardware specifications

Android Users:

  • Minimum OS version: Android 8

  • Any device which can run Android 8 or greater will meet hardware specifications

The Inventory App is currently accessible to users who are utilizing the ServiceTitan Inventory Module.

Enable access to the Inventory Mobile app

To enable access to the Inventory Mobile app for users:

  1. In ServiceTitan, go to the top toolbar and click SettingsA simple icon representing a settings gear..

  2. From the side menu, click Inventory > Configuration.

  3. Click the Inventory tab, and select the Enable Inventory Mobile App option.Image showing the Enable Inventory Mobile App option under the Inventory Settings.

  4. When finished, click Save.

To enable access to the Inventory Mobile app for the specific role:

  1. In ServiceTitan, go to the top toolbar bar and click SettingsA simple icon representing a settings gear..

  2. From the side menu, click Role Permissions.

  3. Select the role you want to give permission to, and click Edit.

  4. For technicians, go to the Purchasing & Inventory section, and select the Access Inventory Mobile App option.Image showing how to activate Inventory Mobile app for technicians.

  5. For employees, go to the Purchasing & Inventory section, and select or deselect the permission to enable it.Inventory mobile app permissions for employee.

  6. When finished, click Save.

Download and install the Inventory Mobile app

To download and install the Inventory Mobile app, open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, search for ServiceTitan Inventory, and tap Install.

After you downloaded and installed the Inventory Mobile app it will appear on the home screen of your mobile device.

  1. Tap the app to open it.

  2. On the Inventory by ServiceTitan screen that opens, tap Sign in.Cursor tapping Sign in on the app.

  3. On the Sign in to ServiceTitan screen that opens, enter the credentials you use to log in to ServiceTitan or ServiceTitan Mobile depending on which one you use, then tap Sign In.A cursor tapping Sign In after entering the credentials.
