Overview
You can control which pricebook categories your technicians see in ServiceTitan Mobile. For example, you can filter out plumbing categories for your HVAC technicians so they only see HVAC items. This makes building estimates easier.
Who uses this feature
Administrators
Account configuration is required to use this feature. To update your account, contact your success or implementation manager for details.
Things to know
Before you start, make sure that you have set up pricebook categories.
Assign a Category to every pricebook item so technicians see it in mobile. Without a Category, they won’t see the item.

Assign pricebook categories to technicians
You can assign business units to a pricebook category, so technicians assigned to the same business units see a filtered view of categories when they’re in the field. For additional control, you can assign categories to an individual technician. On ServiceTitan Mobile, they’ll see a filtered view of their pricebook based on these settings.
Go to the navigation bar and click Settings
. In the side panel, go to People > Technician.

Click Add to create a new technician profile, or Edit to add pricebook categories for an existing technician.

Use the Pricebook Categories drop-down to select the categories you want to add.

Click Save.
Assign business unit to Pricebook category
Assigning business units to Pricebook categories controls visibility in ServiceTitan Mobile. Only technicians in the assigned BUs can see items in that category. To assign a business unit to a category:
Go to the navigation bar and click Pricebook
.In the side menu, click Categories.
Find the category or subcategory you want to update and in the Business Unit column, click the field to open a list of BUs.

Use the search field if needed. Select one or more BUs. Click Check
to save it.
Tip: To remove a BU, reopen the field, deselect it, and click the checkmark.
