Overview

Create alerts to remind your team to respond, match, verify, and work on the text message (SMS) and email review requests sent to them.

Feature configuration

  • To get started with Marketing Pro Reputation, request a demo on our Pro Products page, or reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) or Pro Account Manager.

Things to know

  • Before you start using Marketing Pro Reputation, set your Marketing Pro email settings. For more, see Manage Marketing Pro settings.

  • To use the Number of Stars (Internal Reviews) alert type, you must first enable the Advanced Survey Creation feature. This can be found in Settings  > Marketing Pro > Reputation Management > Advanced Surveys. After enabling this feature, you may need to refresh your browser for the alert to appear.

Manage alerts

Add, edit, activate, and deactivate alerts that your team members can receive as a response to review requests.

Add alerts

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing .

  2. In the side menu, click Alerts.

  3. Click Create AlertTable displaying alert settings with options to activate or deactivate notifications.

  4. On the New Alert screen that opens, provide the alert details:        

    • Type: Select the type of alert you want to create:                

      • No Response: Sends an alert if your team doesn't respond to a published review within a specified time.

      • Not Verified: Sends an alert if your team doesn't verify a customer review within a specified time.

      • Number of Stars (External Reviews): Sends an alert when you receive an external review with a specific star rating.

      • Social Platform Authorization Expired: Sends an alert when your Google or Facebook authorization has been expired for a certain number of days.

      • Number of Stars (Internal Reviews): Sends an alert when you receive an internal review with a specific star rating.

    • Details: Specify when to send the alert based on the alert type you selected:

      • No Response: Enter how many days your team has to respond to a review before sending the alert.

      • Not Verified: Enter how many days your team has to verify a review before sending the alert.

      • Number of Stars (External Reviews): Select which star rating triggers the alert for external reviews.

      • Social Platform Authorization Expired: Enter the number of days the social platform authorization must be expired before the alert is sent.

    • Delivery Method: Select how to send the alert.

    • Recipients: Select who receives the alert. Form for creating a new alert with type, details, delivery method, and recipients.

  5. When finished, click Save.

Edit alerts

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Marketing .

  2. In the side menu, click Alerts.

  3. Hover over an alert and click the Edit  icon. Table displaying alert settings with options to activate or deactivate notifications.

  4. Update your alert details as needed.

  5. When finished, click Save.

Activate or Deactivate alerts

You can activate or deactivate one or more alerts at the same time.

For a single alert, go to Alerts then select Activate or Deactivate.

To activate or deactivate alerts in bulk, select the box next to the Type column to select all, or click the box for the specific alerts you want to include. Then click Activate or Deactivate.
