Convert open estimates and book sold estimates

Overview

After you have successfully followed up on an opportunity, you can convert the open estimate to a sold estimate and then book the job for that sold estimate.

Things to know

  • You can book more than one install job from an estimate.

  • Once you book an item from a sold estimate into an install job, the job number will display next to the opportunity so you can always see which jobs were booked from the estimate and access them quickly.

  • If you remove an item from the install job's invoice, it will go back onto the estimate as unused.

Sell an open estimate

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Follow Up.

  2. Find the opportunity with the open estimate on it and click it.

  3. Click Sold/Convert.

  4. Select the name of the person responsible for the sale or conversion. By default, this will be you. Click Sold/Convert to confirm.

Note: Signatures are not required for estimates that aren't sold in the ServiceTitan Mobile App. When you sell an estimate from the office, there is no way to collect a homeowner's signature.

Book a sold estimate

Note: After you have sold or converted an open estimate, you can book install job(s) immediately. If you don't book jobs for converted estimates right away, be sure to go to the Sold Estimates tab under Follow Ups to book jobs for converted estimates.

  1. Go to the navigation bar and click Follow Up, and then click the Sold Estimates tab.

  2. Find the opportunity for which you would like to book a job and click it.

  3. From the sold estimate, check the estimate(s) for which you would like to book a job. You can Check all if applicable.

  4. Click Book Job. This takes you to the Call Booking screen.

  5. From the Call Booking screen, book a job as usual.
