Can I include a technician's biography and photo in dispatch notifications?

Problem

Regular dispatch notifications are being sent, but you also want to include the technician's biography and photo.

Solution

Customize technician's biography and photo in dispatch notifications

1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings .

2. In the side panel, go to Communications > Customer Notifications.

3. Click Dispatch Notifications.

4. Click the Text or Email tab, depending on the type of notification you want to send, and then click Customize.

5. Drag the personalized token called Technician Biorgraphy where you want it to appear in the notification. 

6. Click Preview Edits to see how the notification will look.

7. When finished, click Save.

If technician photos still aren't appearing in notification text messages:

1. Go to the top toolbar and click Settings .

2. In the side panel, go to Phones > Phone Numbers.

3. Check if the Outbound MMS number is a local number. If it's not, change it to a local number. You can also change the Outbound SMS number to the same local number, but it's not required.

To test if it works:

1. Create a fake job for testing or use an existing job and change the customer's phone number temporarily.

2. Dispatch a technician to a job.

3. Make sure the dispatch notification appears as you want it.
