Adjust the cost of materials with fractions of pennies

Problem

ServiceTitan rounds costs to two decimal places. This can make your PO total higher or lower than the actual cost.

Solution

Adjust the cost of materials with fractions of pennies

Identify the item with a cost that includes fractions of pennies. This issue usually happens with specific items, not all.

1. In the main menu, click on Pricebook

2. In the menu on the left side, click on Materials

3. Search for the material that requires updating.

4. Click on the More icon on the right side of the material row and click on View/Edit Material

5. In the vendor list at the bottom of the page, adjust the price in the Cost column to the rounded amount.

This ensures your PO total is accurate moving forward. Existing PO's that are in Sent or Pending status will need to be edited.
