Overview

The Adaptive Capacity Scheduling Utilization report template lets you build custom reports on Adaptive Capacity scheduling practices. Running this report gives you insight into how your team is using Adaptive Capacity when booking jobs.


Who uses this feature

  • Administrators, CSRs, dispatchers, and managers

  • Primarily for Residential Service and Commercial Service business types

 Feature configuration

  • Account configuration is required to use this feature. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to get access.

  • Permissions are required to use certain Adaptive Capacity features. Please contact the account administrator on your team.

  • The ability to create custom reports is dependent on your ServiceTitan Package. For custom reports access, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

Things to know

  • The Adaptive Capacity Scheduling Utilization report only shows usage for jobs booked within ServiceTitan. It does not include usage for jobs booked through external tools such as Scheduling Pro, Contact Center Pro, an API, and so on.

  • If you’re unsure which columns you want to include in your report, use the Reporting Dictionary to search for appropriate data fields.

  • You can use this template to create as many custom reports as you need. Each report created from the template is independent and can be run or scheduled without needing to recreate it from the original template.

Create an Adaptive Capacity Scheduling Utilization report

Follow the steps to create a custom report. For the report type, click Others. For the report template, click Adaptive Capacity Scheduling Utilization.

Note: In some cases, the report might be called Experimental / Adaptive Capacity Scheduling Utilization. Disregard the word Experimental, it does not affect how the report functions.

The template has the following columns selected by default:

  • Created Date: The date the job was booked.

  • Job Type: The job type used to book the job.

  • Booked By: The username of the employee who booked the job.

  • Job #: The unique number automatically assigned to the job when it was booked.

  • Business Unit: The business unit (BU) assigned to the job. 

  • Tool Used: The scheduling tool used to book the job: Adaptive Capacity or No Capacity. If No Capacity is shown in the report, then Adaptive Capacity was not used when scheduling the job.

Run an Adaptive Capacity Scheduling Utilization report

After you create and save a report for Adaptive Capacity Scheduling Utilization, you can run the report to see how your team is using Adaptive Capacity during job booking:

  1. Click the From - To field to set date filters. You can:

    • Use the calendar to select a specific date range and then click Apply.

    • Use the left menu to select a preset date range:

      • Today: From 12:00 AM to the current time.

      • Yesterday: Previous day, from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM.

      • This Week: From Monday through Sunday of the current week.

      • Week to Date: From Monday through the current date of the current week.

      • Last 7 Days: Previous seven days, including today.

      • Last 14 Days: Previous 14 days, including today.

      • Last 30 Days: Previous 30 days, including today.

      • Month to Date: From the first of the current month to the current day.

      • Last Month: Entire month before the current month. For example, if the date is February 5, the entire month of January.

      • Last 90 Days: Previous 90 days, including today.

      • This Quarter: Current quarter, including future dates. For example, if the date is April 25, from April 1 - June 30.

      • Last Quarter: Entire quarter before the current quarter. For example, if the date is April 25, from January 1 - March 31.

      • Quarter to Date: From the first day of the current quarter to the current day.

      • Year to Date: From January 1 of the current year to the current day.

      • Last 365 Days: Previous 365 days, including today.

      • Last Year: From January 1 of the previous year to December 31.

  2. Click the Business Unit dropdown to filter the report by business unit (BU).

  3. When finished, click Run Report.

The report returns with results. Each row in the report represents an individual date.

You can export the report, edit the columns shown in the report, and drag column headers to group by that column. For more, see Run, filter, and export reports .
