Problem
There is no direct way to link a job to a lead in ServiceTitan. This can occur when a booking agent doesn't see an existing lead and creates a new job instead.
Solution
Choose the method that best aligns with your reporting needs. Both options have trade-offs in accuracy and metrics.
Option 1: Cancel and rebook the job correctly
Go to the incorrectly booked job.
Cancel the job.
Find the original lead in Follow Up > Leads.
Note: This option will:
Inflate the cancellation rate
Show two jobs booked and one canceled
Report two calls when only one occurred
Option 2: Update the campaign and dismiss the lead
Go to the booked job.
Update the job's marketing campaign to match the lead.
Find the original lead in Follow Up > Leads.
Dismiss the lead.
Note: This option will:
Show one job booked
Show the lead as dismissed in reports
Have no record of the job being booked from the lead
