What you're seeing
When you try to download payments to Excel on the Accounting screen, the download fails and you see an error:
"Oops... something went wrong. You can go back and try again. If the issue persists, please contact support."
Why this happens
Reason
A payment in your selection has an incorrect or invalid Paid on date.
The bad date breaks the export, so the whole download fails. Correcting the date on the affected payment(s) lets the download go through.
How to fix it
Before you start
If you're not sure which payment has the bad date, scan the payments you're downloading for any with a missing, blank, or clearly wrong Paid on date (for example, a placeholder date far in the past). If you can't spot one, work through the payments in your selection and check each one's Paid on date.
Correct the Paid on date on the affected payment(s), then download again.
1Correct the Paid on date and download again
Go to Accounting > Batch/Export Transactions.
Click the invoice for an affected payment.
Click the pencil icon to edit the payment.
Change the Paid on date to the correct date the payment should have been processed on, then click Save.
Repeat steps 2–4 for any other payments with an incorrect date.
Download the payments to Excel again.
✓ Done · With the dates corrected, the payments download to Excel successfully.
