Things to know
GPS is accurate within 3-10 meters. If GPS is unavailable, cellular triangulation is used which is accurate within 500 meters, or about 1/3 of a mile.
To avoid reporting inaccuracies, make sure each technician is assigned no more than one GPS device.
Technicians who use a separate GPS device, for example TomTom or Fleetmatics, cannot be tracked through real-time technician tracking in ServiceTitan. You can still send out dispatch notifications without technician tracking.

FAQ
I'd like to turn on real-time technician tracking. Are my technicians using the right kind of device?
Real-time technician tracking in ServiceTitan Mobile is available for native GPS devices such as an iPad, iPhone, Android tablet, or any device with native GPS.
Technicians using a non-native GPS device such as TomTom or Fleetmatics cannot be tracked in real-time. However, you can still send out dispatch notifications to those technicians.
Note: For appointments where technicians are using non-native GPS devices, customer notifications do not include Track Now links.
Why isn't my technician in the right location on the Dispatch Board map?
If a technician isn't showing up in the correct location on the Dispatch Board map, check your GPS settings:
Go to Settings > Integrations > GPS.
Check which GPS provider is set up and click Edit > Devices.
Check if the technician has a device assigned to them.

If the technician has a device already assigned, ask them to double-check if they have Location Services enabled for ServiceTitan Mobile.
