View Exteriors Measurements on the Location Record to confirm details faster

This improvement displays the Measurements table directly on the Location record so you can review and download files without opening a Job.

What's changing?

You can now see all measurements tied to a location in one place. Before, you had to open a related Job to find and download measurement files. Now, the Location record shows a view-only Measurements table. You can download files such as Portable Document Format (PDF) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) directly from the Location and also view the measurement directly from the Location screen.

Before (Current)

  1. Open a customer Location.

  2. Go to a related Job.

  3. Go to the Measurements section inside the Job.

  4. View and download the measurement from the Measurement section inside the job screen. No data available from reporting.

Impact: Extra clicks and navigation when reviewing measurements for an Opportunity at a Location.

After

  1. Open a customer Location.

  2. Go to the Measurements section on the Location record.

  3. Review all measurements in the Measurement table tied to that Location record.

  4. On the Measurement table, you can view key information directly from the Location screen.

  5. You can perform the following actions:

    1. Download the file in different formats such as Portable Document Format (PDF), JSON or Extensible Markup Language (XML)

    2. View the measurement directly from the Location screen

Impact: Faster access to measurement data while working at the Location or Opportunity level.

How it works for your industry

Roofing

  • A Customer Service Representative (CSR) reviews an Opportunity for a roofing estimate. The CSR opens the Location and checks past measurements without opening a Job.

  • An estimator confirms roof dimensions before building a proposal. The estimator downloads the Portable Document Format (PDF) file directly from the Location record.

  • An office team member manages multiple Opportunities at one home. The team reviews all measurement records in one table at the Location level instead of checking each Job.

How to Prepare?

  1. Have an administrator reach out to Support or your CSM to have the Roofing trade enabled for your account.

  2. Confirm your team knows measurements now appear on the Location record.

  3. Identify workflows where staff open Jobs only to review measurements.

  4. Train Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and estimators to use the Location-level table.

  5. Align your quoting process to review measurements before creating new Jobs.

  6. Confirm there are no new permissions required for your team.
